Responsibilities • Assist lead teachers with daily classroom routines, including setting up activities and managing materials to create an inviting learning space. • Support children’s social-emotional development through positive interactions, behavior management strategies, and encouragement. • Help implement lesson plans focused on literacy education, math skills, early childhood development, and curriculum objectives such as Montessori or preschool standards. • Provide attentive toddler care and support for children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities. • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols at all times. • Engage in ongoing communication with children, parents, and team members to promote a collaborative educational experience. • Adapt to different classroom settings as a floater, stepping into various roles to ensure continuity of quality care and instruction across multiple classrooms. Skills • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. • Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school environments. • Knowledge of special education strategies and behavior management techniques for children with diverse needs. • Ability to assist in lesson planning for literacy education, math activities, and curriculum development aligned with educational standards such as Montessori or preschool frameworks. • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and engage with families. • Classroom management skills to foster a positive learning atmosphere while maintaining safety and order. • Experience working with children who have autism or other disabilities is highly valued. • Familiarity with toddler care practices and working in settings that emphasize early childhood development.
