Senior Sales Director The Lady May Family of Brands (The Lady May, Lady May Tallow, Tallow Man, and more) Overview We are a small group of fun loving restauranteurs who branched out of our restaurant to sell our traditional products, used on our menus and put them online. In 2.5 years we hit 85,000 orders, over 25,000 Five star reviews and now we are seeking our first Senior Sales Director to build and lead the sales department for our fast-growing family of brands in the natural skincare and tallow-based food sectors. This is a unique opportunity to shape the sales function from the ground up—designing systems, executing strategies, and scaling a high-performing team that drives us toward our ambitious growth targets. In the first three months, you’ll implement a structured sales system across both Food Service and Skin Care niches for bot BTB and DTC.. After laying the foundation, you’ll begin building and managing a team to accelerate growth in DTC, B2B, wholesale, and institutional sales. We estimate $7M in annual revenue ($4M B2B and $3M DTC) in 2025, with multiple proven products, two production facilities with unlimited capacity, and a rapidly expanding fulfillment center. With strong inventory ready for Q4 and production scaling for 2026, we are positioned for explosive growth. Our goal is to scale from $20M in 2026 to $100M within 3–5 years—and we’re looking for the right leader to take us there. Responsibilities • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Build a comprehensive sales program that drives growth across skincare and food service markets. • Build and Lead a Team: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performance sales organization. • Expand Market Share: Negotiate contracts, close deals, and cultivate long-term relationships with key accounts. • Implement CRM Systems: Launch Salesforce (or similar) to track leads, optimize performance, and provide actionable insights. • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with marketing to align campaigns, product launches, and promotional initiatives. • Customer-Centric Growth: Ensure exceptional client experiences through responsiveness and relationship-building. • Analyze Trends: Monitor market shifts and customer feedback to continuously refine sales strategies. Qualifications • Proven track record in building and scaling sales departments, ideally in skincare, food service, or CPG. • Strong background in B2B and DTC sales, with experience in wholesale and institutional sales a plus. • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills. • Skilled negotiator with a history of closing major deals. • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales performance and market trends. • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems. • Excellent communication and relationship management skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment.
