Location: Indianapolis, IN Salary: $40.00 USD Hourly - $50.00 USD Hourly Description: Job Title: Accounting/Finance Manager Location: Hybrid - Indianapolis, IN or Lawrenceville, NJ Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting/Finance Manager to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP BPC, BlackLine, and Microsoft Office, and will contribute to financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and consolidate financial statements across multiple subsidiaries. Conduct variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods. Support budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with department managers. Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure SOX compliance. Develop financial models to enhance reporting quality and speed. Respond to inquiries from senior management and stakeholders regarding financial results and special reports. Coordinate with corporate departments and external partners to ensure proper accounting treatment. Assist with year-end audit preparation and coordination. Train and mentor finance staff; educate non-finance managers on financial concepts. Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements. Support strategic initiatives and special projects led by senior leadership. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred). 5-7 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in a complex or regulated environment. Proven leadership experience managing direct reports. Proficiency in SAP BPC, BlackLine, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with financial reporting systems and ERP platforms. Strong analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
