Full Description

We are partnered with our direct client in search of a Data Auditor (III) to join their Operations team. Direct Hire (No C2C or third-party submissions) Location: Addison 75001 Schedule: Fully remote but would prefer someone who lives in the DFW area so that they come in for meetings occasionally Interview process: 2 rounds of virtual interviews The Data Auditor III is a critical contributor to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of data across multiple systems and business functions. This role is responsible for proactively auditing data pipelines, monitoring time-sensitive workflows, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues before they affect operations. Success in this role requires a strong analytical mindset, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes. The Data Auditor III will work closely with IT, data governance, and operations teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to uphold the highest standards of data quality and timeliness. Needs: • 6–8 years of experience in data auditing, data analysis, or database quality assurance. • Expertise in SQL, including the creation and optimization of stored procedures. • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouse platforms. • Familiarity with data visualization and monitoring tools such as Power BI and Grafana. • Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). • Demonstrated ability to work independently, efficiently, and with precision in high-pressure environments. • Strong ownership mentality and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems. • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes within data-centric organizations. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Preferred: Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience Key responsibilities include: • Conducting detailed audits of data flows and ensuring alignment with business rules and compliance standards. • Utilizing advanced SQL skills, including stored procedure development, to analyze large datasets within Snowflake. • Investigating anomalies, uncovering trends, and recommending improvements to enhance data reliability and operational efficiency. • Maintaining comprehensive audit logs and documentation to support accountability and continuous process improvement. Other duties: Data Auditing & Analysis • Detect and address data inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and potential quality risks across systems. • Design and implement robust data auditing strategies to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Validate data transformations, stored procedures, and outputs against original source records. • Audit data ingestion workflows to confirm completeness, timeliness, and precision. • Review operational processes and establish controls to maintain workflow integrity. • Monitor time-sensitive operations to ensure adherence to deadlines and service-level agreements (SLAs). • Maintain detailed documentation of audit activities, findings, and resolutions for compliance and historical tracking. Collaboration & Issue Resolution • Collaborate with IT, database engineers, and operations teams to resolve identified data issues. • Work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions and preventive measures. • Translate technical audit findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences. Reporting & Visualization • Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI and/or Grafana to visualize audit results and key performance indicators (KPIs). • Provide regular reports to leadership highlighting audit trends, outcomes, and areas for improvement. Process Optimization • Recommend improvements to data collection, storage, and processing workflows. • Identify opportunities for automation to enhance data validation and error detection. • Contribute to the development and standardization of audit methodologies and best practices across the organization.
