Business Operations Associate – Clinical Research Location: Remote or San Antonio, TX (IMA Clinical Research Office) Department: Business Operations – Clinical Research About the Role IMA Clinical Research is seeking a detail-oriented Business Operations Associate to join our central clinical research operations team. In this role, you’ll support the implementation, optimization, and management of our Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) across our site network, while ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of clinical research financials. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys systems management, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration. Not accepting candidates from CA, CO, WA, Chicago, IL, or NYC, NY Key Responsibilities Serve as the network steward for CTMS, including training and support Build and maintain studies in CTMS per budgets, protocols, and agreements Update CTMS records with protocol, budget, or contract changes Perform data quality checks for accurate and timely reporting Partner with site teams to ensure timely data entry and invoicing Investigate and resolve CTMS issues, communicating status to stakeholders Support CTMS enhancements, including testing and process improvements Participate in cross-functional initiatives and promote operational excellence Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in technology, management, healthcare, or related field (Master’s preferred) 3–5+ years of experience in clinical research operations Experience with CTMS platforms preferred Why Join Us Flexible work: remote or in-office in San Antonio, TX Make an impact across a growing clinical research network Collaborate with a mission-driven, cross-functional team The IMA Group is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer Our Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies and delivers professional and objective medical and psychological examinations as well as ancillary services.
