Full Description

Hunton Distribution, a division of Hunton Group in Houston, TX, has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our organization as a Warranty Administrator. This position performs a wide range of transactional, administrative, and office support duties associated with HVAC warranties and store operations as well as provides backup customer service support for the counter/inside sales team. The Warranty Administrator is responsible for providing enthusiastic and proactive service to our customer base, while ensuring proper claim filing, processing customer orders, and responding to customers' inquiries, questions, and needs in a timely manner. Responsibilities: • Promptly process customer warranty claims, and issue appropriate credits. • Process vendor claims and follow up to insure that correct credits are received. • Organize historical claim information for quick and complete research capabilities. • Show ongoing initiative and problem-solving skills to find solutions for customer claims and vendor participation/support. • Perform ongoing administrative functions including, but not limited to, open shipper and backorder report administration, and scrapping activity. • Develop, maintain, and cultivate new customer relationships. Gain and possess knowledge of the Trane product line and the HVAC service and supply items to be able to demonstrate and discuss with customers. • Works with customers to identify parts. • Proficiently utilizes the Trane FALCON, WMS, ORACLE, and WEBCATS programs. • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required. • Administer other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Skills Required • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Goal oriented. • Strong presentation skills.
