Position Purpose: The Sr. Software Engineer – Salesforce is responsible for independently developing, customizing, and enhancing Salesforce applications to meet the evolving needs of our customers and associates. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels who collaborate to build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production Salesforce solutions. In addition, Sr. Software Engineers may be involved in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, integration with other systems, and production monitoring, as well as mentoring less experienced engineers. Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Working Conditions: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: 4-5 years of relevant work experience with Salesforce development and administration Strong experience with Salesforce declarative features (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Page Layouts) and programmatic development (Apex, Lightning Web Components) Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs Familiar with web technologies such as CSS, HTML, JavaScript, etc. Knowledge of Salesforce security models, including profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules Experience with data modeling, data migration, and managing large datasets in Salesforce Familiarity with CI/CD tools and release management processes in Salesforce Experience with testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and automated testing within Salesforce Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills for both declarative and programmatic Salesforce components Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Experience with development IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio) and familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot is preferred Minimum Education: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
