I’m reaching out about an Materials Management/Supply Chain Manager role with a growing, expanding hospital in the Pacific Northwest. This leader will oversee procurement, inventory, growth and cost control while guiding a dedicated team focused on reliable support for staff, patients, and the organization. The impact • Maintain an efficient, cost-effective hospital supply chain across hospital and clinics • Oversee all inventories and coordinate the annual physical count with Accounting • Drive compliance with group purchasing contracts and help reassess GPO partners • Lead workflow improvements to support expansion, accreditation, and patient service • Manage forms (and forms committee) and maintain CS/Purchasing tables in the hospital IT system • Play a key role in evaluating and implementing barcoding and Pyxis supply technology • Identify opportunities for efficiencies (online ordering, forms automation, paper reduction, etc.) Position Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Business or Supply Chain Management or related field (required) • 5+ years leading materials/supply chain teams (healthcare experience strongly preferred) • 3+ years in leadership – moving a team forward. • Strong purchasing & inventory management fundamentals; advanced Excel/database skills • Background in healthcare system growth, new build, or expansion is a plus • Familiarity with barcoding systems and automated supply technologies preferred
