As an Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music all while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect. A few special characteristics that make our Instructors successful: • Musical Passion: Able to motivate your students and share your passion of music through teaching. • Student Focused: Understands your student's needs and be able to provide an excellent student experience. Is approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, passionate, and committed to helping students. • Initiative: Able to identify opportunities & issues and follow through on the curriculum to capitalize or resolve them. • Interpersonal Communication: Able to communicate through various means (written and verbal) with diverse, individuals, including internal and external stakeholders at all levels in a clear, concise, positive, and courteous manner. • Organizational Skills: Able to utilize time, energy, and resources to manage priorities, stay on track, and achieve goals. • Adaptable: Able to be at ease with a fast-paced environment and change direction and priorities without cause.
