As a NetSuite Systems Consultant, you will lead initiatives involving data integration, reporting, financial and operational KPIs, inventory cost management, and process improvements. Key Responsibilities: • Develop a "quasi" data warehouse using Power Query, Power Pivot, and other tools to consolidate data from NetSuite, Shopify, shipping systems, and WMS for basic metrics such as SLA shipping, order performance, and inventory KPIs. • Enhance existing financial reporting processes by revamping reports to include month-to-date, quarter-to-date, year-to-date, and previous year comparisons; automate report scheduling and delivery. • Support the setup of a lightweight, robust operational forecasting and budgeting process with clear ownership, structured review cycles, and executive-friendly reporting dashboards. • Streamline budget uploads, enabling flexible, channel-, department-, and location-specific inputs for easy adjustments and re-uploads. • Collaborate on inventory landed/cost projects, ensuring accurate system conversion, understanding impact of tariffs, SKU management, and cost analysis. • Advise on data architecture and technical methodology for integrating multiple systems, focusing on KPIs like shipping margins, SLA metrics, and customized order performance. • Support the development of consolidated P&L views with detailed channel, margin, and G&A breakdowns. • Assist in automating and optimizing operational and selling metrics, including margin analysis, shipping performance, and customized order streams. • Provide guidance on resource skill sets needed—distinguishing between financial reporting, data manipulation, and inventory expertise—and facilitate resource onboarding. • Work with internal teams and external resources to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business priorities. Qualifications & Skills: • Proven experience with NetSuite ERP system implementation, customization, and reporting. • Strong expertise in Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, and BI reporting tools. • Experience integrating multiple data sources (e.g., e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WMS, shipping systems). • Ability to design and implement basic data warehouses for operational KPIs and reporting. • Knowledge of retail inventory costing, landed costs, tariffs, SKU management, and warehouse operations. • Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and budget management tools. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams with minimal supervision. • Prior experience with retail businesses or multi-channel operations is highly desirable.
