Housekeeper – Senior Living Community The Grand at Twin Lakes – Palatine, IL Join our team at The Grand at Twin Lakes! We are an independent & assistant senior living community dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper who enjoys making a positive impact every day. Position: Housekeeper Status: Full-Time or Part-Time Schedule: Day time hours & Weekends Responsibilities Include: • Clean resident apartments (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces). • Clean hallways, lobbies, offices, and community areas. • Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, and trash removal. • Change linens and make beds as needed. • Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets. • Monitor and report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns. • Report any signs of bugs/pest activity and/or hoarding tendencies immediately to management. • Retrieve and return any kitchen or dining room items (cups, utensils, plates, etc.) that residents may have accidentally taken to their apartments. • Interact with residents professionally, kindly, and respectfully. • Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Requirements: • Prior housekeeping experience preferred (senior living, healthcare, or hospitality helpful). • Monthly Relias Training Modules must be completed on time. • Must pass a criminal background check. • Must provide or obtain a current TB test. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. • Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused demeanor. • Reliable transportation.
