Role Overview: As a Sr Machine Learning Engineer on our Fintech Foundation team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced machine learning models that drive our fintech products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, data-driven solutions that enhance financial services and user experiences. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models tailored to fintech applications. - You will analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and improve model performance. - You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to integrate ML solutions into production. - You will optimize algorithms for scalability, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. - You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in ML engineering. - You will stay current with the latest ML research and fintech trends to inform development. - You will participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code. - You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ML systems in production. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, preferably in fintech or related fields. - Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. - Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying ML models. - Solid background in statistics, data analysis, and model evaluation techniques. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and time-series analysis. - Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. - Contributions to open-source ML projects or publications in relevant fields.
