Full Description

Job Title: Architecture & Design (A&D) Manager – Northeast Location: New York (Remote-based in territory) Travel: ~35–45%, primarily in the Northeast with occasional travel to other East Coast Cities Position Overview: The A&D Manager – Northeast will be responsible for driving brand awareness, product specification, and sales through strong engagement with Architects, Interior Designers, Specifiers, and key Influencers within the territory. This individual will represent the company with excellence, grow and maintain a network of A&D relationships, and work in alignment with the broader sales team to ensure The Galley is top of mind in high-end residential projects. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Target and engage key Architects, Interior Designers, and Design Influencers in the Northeast region, primarily focused on New York and the surrounding area • Promote The Galley brand through in-person and virtual presentations, CEUs, lunch-and-learns, showroom events, and industry networking opportunities • Educate the A&D community on The Galley’s product line, functionality, and value proposition to ensure inclusion in residential and multi-unit project specifications • Build strong, long-term relationships with high-impact A&D firms to drive consistent specification and referral business • Collaborate with local Galley Dealers, showroom teams, and Sales Directors to plan and execute CEU events and Galley events that showcase The Galley • Promote The Galley Crew Trade Partner Program and aggressively grow the Crew community • Drive participation in the Crew Trade Partner Program by educating potential members and fostering personal connections to be positioned as a trusted resource • Monitor design trends, project activity, and competitive landscape in the territory to uncover new opportunities and drive brand relevance • Support the onboarding of newly engaged design firms and maintain regular follow-ups • Participate in relevant local and national industry events, design markets, and trade shows to expand the company’s influence and reach • Provide regular reports and insights on A&D activity, project pipelines, and specification wins/losses to leadership • Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: • 2+ years experience in A&D sales, business development, or product specification within the luxury design or building products industry preferred • Established relationships in the New York A&D community strongly preferred • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both in-person and virtual • Ability to influence and build trust with high-end design professionals • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a complex, relationship-driven sales cycle • Self-motivated, highly professional, and aligned with The Galley’s values and culture • Proficient in Google Workspace, PowerPoint; HubSpot experience a plus • College degree, preferred
