Lead donor development and care programs, develop fundraising strategies, coordinate donor giving activities, assist with grant proposals and training, and collaborate with teams to maximize fundraising efforts.
5+ years fundraising and donor development experience, grant writing preferred, proficiency with email marketing software, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work remotely and travel as needed.
SUMMARY OF ROLE This position is responsible for leading the strategy and developing a donor development and care program that increases giving for the Global Mission Fund, global projects, and key FMI leaders. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop fundraising strategies that: • involve Foursquare Churches for further donor development including specifically Senior Pastors and Church leaders • target congregation members of Foursquare churches • are outside of the realm of influence of The Foursquare Church • Partner closely with Global Associate Directors and Regional Coordinators to develop compelling asks around their global initiatives • Coordinate the daily activities of the Global Mission’s donor giving program • Plan and implement marketing programs and special events/initiatives to maximize prospect/donor engagement • Identify, develop, and maintain a prospect portfolio of new potential donors to optimize fundraising opportunities • Assist in developing major gift opportunities and writing grant proposals • Assist the TDC team in the training of FMI workers for partnership development • Assist the FMI Director in data mining and reporting as needed • Advise and give input on continued development of giving platforms • Work with FMI communications team to develop fundraising opportunities and campaigns • Advise other teams and the denomination on fundraising strategies • Other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisory team leader REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES • Demonstrates humility and a growth mindset with an attitude of servant-leadership; placing serving over being served and collaboration over individualization • A commitment to The Foursquare “one-team” growth culture • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent level of experience, training and education • 5+ years of fundraising and donor development experience • Proven experience in event marketing and donor outreach • Grant writing experience is preferred • Proven experience using email marketing software systems; CampaignMonitor and Salesforce are preferred • Ability to work remotely on a full-time regular basis effectively • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, clear communicator • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Organized, self-starter with a positive attitude • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, create timelines and meet project deadlines; attention to detail • Adaptable and able to learn quickly • Ability to travel as requested • Experienced with Microsoft Office 365 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must have the ability to sit for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity of fingers, hands and wrists; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the phone; have the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; physical agility to lift up to 25 pounds.
