Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during their shift, providing exceptional customer service, and leading the team to deliver outstanding hospitality. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the food and beverage industry, particularly in hotel or bar settings. Duties • Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards. • Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Train and develop team members in food safety practices, customer service, and operational procedures. • Manage inventory levels, assist with budgeting, and ensure cost-effective operations. • Utilize Aloha POS system for order management and transaction processing. • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the establishment. • Assist in bartending duties as needed, showcasing knowledge of drink recipes and service techniques. Qualifications • Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels or bars. • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. • Experience in training development for staff members is highly desirable. • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. • Familiarity with budgeting processes related to food and beverage operations is a plus. • Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred. • Bartending experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
