ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT THE FEDERALIST SOCIETY The Federalist Society, a DC-based non-profit organization that seeks to inform the legal and public policy debate on a national level, seeks an Associate Director to work in the Office of the President. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with an interest in legal issues and a commitment to the mission of The Federalist Society. Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with short-term and long-term deadlines. The position requires strong research, writing, editing, organizational, and administrative skills. At least 2-3 years of work experience is preferred. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Manage the schedule and activities of the President and CEO of The Federalist Society. Adjust the President's daily agenda based on emerging priorities. Assist the Director of the Office of the President with special projects, as assigned. Attend events around town and around the country on behalf of The Federalist Society. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Federalist Society members. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: Organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities, especially the ability to continually prioritize and pivot as needed in changing situations. Calm and personable demeanor, with a flexible and solution-oriented approach to challenges. Proficiency with Google Suite of products. Strong research, writing, and communication skills. Ability to work a varied schedule, as needed, and willingness to travel. Bachelor's Degree.
