Essential Functions • Reports to the Director of Operations • Plan, organize, direct and control division operations to ensure work performance in accordance with contract specifications • Review division payroll time sheets prior to submission for pay, entails daily review of clock in/out reports and resolving discrepancies on a daily basis and providing resolutions to the payroll department • Continually evaluate procedures, methods, and materials for purposes of improving performance and reducing cost of operation (this involves meeting with the accounting department monthly to review division financial results and job profitability reports) • Continually analyze the results of division operations and take immediate corrective action when performance deviates from standard • Ensure that all division equipment is clean, well maintained and in good operating condition • Ensure the availability of equipment, supplies and materials in quantities required for company operations, at an economical cost (this includes full responsibility for issuing purchase orders through the system and assigning them to the correct building locations as indicated by specific work orders, also includes setting up and maintaining inventory items in service management system) • Coordinate quarterly physical inventory of warehouse and all service locations and report results to the accounting department • Implement approved operating policies,methodsand procedures • Develop and train subordinate supervisors, appraise their performance, and make recommendations concerning salary adjustments, promotions,transfersor termination • Cooperate with the Sales Department in the development and review of new business proposals • Make recommendations concerning adjustments in contractual arrangement based on operational need • Ensure the proper handling of customer complaints and keep the Sales Department informed of serious problems • Approve,scheduleand report extra billing work • A night time presence isrequired, minimum 5 times per week, to ensure compliance of procedures, training, evaluations and recommendations to area managers,supervisorsand cleaning technicians • Set clear expectations with team members • Other duties as assigned. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. Physical Considerations While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing and, walking . The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move items over 3 0 pounds.
