**Description** • *Position Summary** We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Tertiary Packaging Design Engineer to join our Commercialization Engineering team at the Sakura Plant. This role is critical in developing and implementing the best tertiary packaging solutions that meet transportation, logistics, and environmental standards while ensuring cost-effectiveness and product integrity. In this role, you will work in close partnership with Secondary Packaging Design Engineers, Commercial Engineering Brand Validation Leaders, Equipment Engineering Leads, Material Suppliers, as well as Operations and Quality Assurance teams. Your focus will be on designing and validating tertiary packages that support new product launches, agility transfers, and value chain improvement initiatives at ELC Sakura plant. • *Job Description - Major Duties:** + Tertiary Package Design and Development: + Design and develop tertiary packaging components including shippers, overwraps, bags, carriers, dividers. + Utilize Artificial Intelligence tools to optimize shipper design for pallet efficiency, enable double stacking during transportation, and maximize operation automation + Ensure design compliance with ELC quality standards, international transport regulations, and storage/handling requirements. + Tertiary Package Testing and Trouble Shooting + Validate the tertiary packaging with transit test and drop test + Solving problems found during those tests together with multiple function teams + Design Improvements and loss elimination: + Work with R&D and Commercial Engineering teams to enhance the quality and robustness of secondary packaging, enabling better tertiary performance + Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and eliminate inefficiencies across the value chain through continuous design optimization. • *Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field. + Strong leadership qualities with a proven ability to influence and drive cross-functional alignment. + Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment + Cosmetic/Pharma/FMCG plant working expereince or validation experience are preferre Equal Opportunity Employer It is Company's policy not to discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions), gender identity or gender expression (including transgender status), sexual orientation, marital status, military service and veteran status, physical or mental disability, protected medical condition as defined by applicable state or local law, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws and ordinances.
