Senior Analyst, Sales and Operations Planning Farmington Hills, MI Our client, a global automotive manufacturer and supplier, is hiring a Senior Analyst, Sales and Operations Planning based out of their Farmington Hills, MI office. This position will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the company’s sales and operations processes through the alignment between demand, supply and financial goals utilizing forecast, insight and analysis. Responsibilities: • Generate and analyze sales forecasts, production capacity and inventory levels and make necessary recommendations to support production cycles • Collaborate with Supply Chain Managers and Master Schedulers to lead downstream planning processes at plants and other production sites • Monitor key metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns and service level performance • Identify supply and demand gaps and support department scenario planning to address constraints or overages • Prepare data-driven reports, dashboards and summaries for management team • Support development and maintenance of sales and operations tools and systems as well as assisting with master data integrity in planning systems to ensure accuracy Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business analytics, finance or related field • 4+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics or sales and operations related roles • Advanced knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and supply chain concepts • Demonstrated analytical, complex problem-solving and financial modeling skills • Strong proficiency with advanced Excel skills required, experience with planning tools such as SAP or business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau preferred • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership • Advanced organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Fulfill travel requirements to plants and offices as necessary (approximately 20% travel)
