Assistant Practice Development Manager We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at The Doctors Office Urgent Care of West Caldwell. As an urgent care facility dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services, we need a dynamic individual who can assist in managing daily operations, ensure quality patient care, and support our team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities: Operational Oversight: · Assist the Regional Director in daily operations, including patient flow, staffing assignments, and resource management. · Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. · Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock. · Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance patient care efficiency. Team Leadership: · Supervise and support clinical and administrative staff, fostering a positive work environment. · Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and development opportunities. · Address staff concerns and escalate issues to the Regional Director when necessary. Patient Care and Satisfaction: · Uphold high standards of patient care and customer service. · Resolve patient complaints and ensure a satisfactory resolution. · Monitor patient feedback and implement improvements as needed. Quality Assurance: · Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to clinical protocols. · Conduct audits and assessments to maintain high standards of care. · Collaborate with Regional Director to implement best practices and enhance patient outcomes. 5. Marketing: · Develop comprehensive marketing plans to increase Occupational Medicine visits. · Conduct market research and analysis to identify patient demographics, trends, and competitive landscape. · Collaborate with Regional Director to define marketing goals, strategies, and budget allocation. Qualifications: · Education and Experience: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate's degree & CMA certification preferred. · CMA certifications · Proven experience in a healthcare management role, preferably in an urgent care setting. · Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team. · Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. · Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. · Proficiency in computer systems and healthcare software. • Must be willing to work various shifts in support of the site's daily operational hours; the schedule will change in accordance with site staffing needs to include weekends and holidays, as needed. • Must be willing to work 2 shifts a week supporting ancillary needs (front desk & medical assisting) Attributes: · Strong commitment to patient care and service excellence. · An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions under pressure. · Effective communicator who can interact professionally with patients, staff, and external stakeholders. · Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
