Wholesale Lending Purchase Review Manager, Non-Delegated Correspondent Channel Summary: All Dart Bank team members take 100% ownership of their positions. Primary Duties: • Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility for the Purchase Review Team, personnel needs including but not limited to staffing needs/alignment, assigning work, coaching, performance evaluations etc. • Review and approve process documents, including policies, procedures, and job aids as they relate to responsible departments. • Pipeline Management: Actively manage the daily purchase pipeline to ensure loan files are reviewed within company-established turn-time policies (SLAs) • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the non-del workflow and implement systemic solutions to increase efficiency and reduce turn times. • Team Leadership & Training: Manage, coach, and train a team of Purchase Specialists/Reviewers. Conduct regular meetings to update staff on guidelines, investor changes, and policy revisions. • Final File Review & Purchase: Direct the review of signed loan documents, including closing disclosures, notes, and security instruments, to verify accuracy and completeness. • Investor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for wholesale non del partners and investors, resolving escalated issues, clearing prior-to-purchase conditions, and ensuring smooth investor purchase. • Suspense Resolution: Oversee the issuance of suspense notifications and ensure prompt resolution by collaborating with account executives, underwriters, operations and post origination teams. • Liaison for quality control and compliance, responsible for ensuring all departments’ adherence to regulatory compliance, policies, and timely response to any audit requests. • Thorough understanding of fundamentals relating to each department, and ability to implement changing regulations and processes to ensure quality transactions that meet all salability and regulatory requirements. • Work closely with executive leadership to both set and meet KPI’s and quality goals. • Ability to design, deliver and approve training materials. • Prioritize workflow to meet or exceed deadlines, ensure that SLA and turn times are met. • Actively participate and advocate the bank’s training and development programs and commitment to learning. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle delicate situations with diplomacy and tact. • Maintains strong knowledge and understanding of Agency and product requirements along with compliance mandates. Continuing education is required. • Responsible for following company policies and procedures as directed. Never employ workarounds to procedures or policies. • Ability to review and analyze situations at both a loan level and institutionally. • Actively involved in engaging technology to enhance efficiency and promote consistency in process. • All other duties as assigned. • Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act. Essential Functions: 1) Use of hands or equivalent ability to complete required tasks 2) Vision or equivalent ability to complete required tasks 3) Strong communication skills and a positive attitude 4) Relationships with external contacts are vital, position involves extensive personal contact with outside sales partners, customer service is top priority. 5) Maintain positive relationship with sales partners (internal and Mortgage Brokers)—phone and email communication are required. Skills: Consistency and Commitment Organization Ability to adapt to quick changes Time Management Customer Service Computer literacy Coaching/Leadership Facilitate Training Education/Training/Experience: 10+ years of recent mortgage operations management and/or leadership experience is required. Candidates must be proficient in TRID compliance, mortgage loan closings, underwriting and other mortgage operations related functions, plus have an established history of operations leadership. Experience in wholesale market and encompass is mandatory, previous remote management experience is preferred.
