The D. E. Shaw group seeks individuals with impressive records of achievement to join the firm. Strategy and business development (SBD) associates are considered for several departments that drive strategic and commercial outcomes —the COO Group, Corporate Development, External Communications, and Investor Relations—where they work on challenging, high-impact projects. The role offers the chance to participate in a collaborative, cohort-style onboarding program, learn from leaders while building a strong foundational knowledge of the firm’s businesses, and develop critical skills and vibrant connections in a collegial and engaging environment.
