Salary: $65,000-$75,000+ annually Location: Bonsall, CA (on-site) Job Overview BKB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Project Coordinator / Engineer to support the execution of high-end restaurant construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This on-site role at our Bonsall, CA office demands construction coordination expertise, with a preference for candidates who have led or assisted in fast-paced, design-forward restaurant projects. Candidates must live within 30 miles of Bonsall and demonstrate strong communication, software proficiency, and multitasking abilities. Utilizing cloud-based platforms like Procore, we streamline every phase of construction to exceed client expectations across California and the Southwest. Key Responsibilities • Support Project Managers throughout all project phases on commercial restaurant construction projects. • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications with confidence and accuracy. • Process and track RFIs, submittals, samples, change orders, bid invitations, and proposals. • Evaluate subcontractor bids and create detailed internal comparison spreadsheets. • Prepare weekly reports and assist with maintaining construction schedules in Microsoft Project. • Act as a communication bridge between field teams and office operations. • Utilize Procore daily for all project documentation and updates (certification required). • Communicate professionally with architects, owners, designers, and subcontractors. • Attend scheduled onsite meetings and travel to project sites as needed. Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction project coordination (restaurant focus strongly preferred). • Proficiency in Procore (required), Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Outlook. • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities. • Must be Procore Certified or willing to complete certification prior to starting.
