Learn more at www.craftsmandeckbuilders.com Key Responsibilities • Perform accurate material take-offs for custom deck projects, ensuring efficient and cost-effective purchasing. • Oversee procurement and delivery of materials, maintaining alignment with construction timelines and crew needs. • Schedule and coordinate multiple work crews to ensure project deadlines and company quality standards are met. • Conduct on-site walkthroughs with crews to clarify designs, building specs, and construction plans. • Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing clear, professional communication throughout the project lifecycle. • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve any issues that arise with crews, materials, or timelines. • Leverage project management software, CRM systems, and cloud tools to track project details, updates, and team communication. • Lead with integrity, mentoring and motivating crew members and contributing to a culture of professionalism and positivity. • Implement systems and processes to help streamline operations and scale efficiency. • Represent the company's mission and values in all interactions with clients, vendors, and team members. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in construction operations or project management, in residential or deck construction preferred. • Proficiency in material take-offs, scheduling, and crew coordination. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred. • Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Google Sheets, Excel, CRM tools, tablets/smartphones, and Zoom. • High integrity and leadership presence - a self-starter who thrives under pressure. • Creative thinker with the ability to solve problems in the field. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. • High school diploma or GED required. • Must be located near or within commuting distance to the work zone and available for hybrid field/office work.
