Key Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial automation equipment and controls systems. • Identify, analyze, and repair equipment and product failures in a timely, professional manner. • Provide on-site service, diagnostics, and technical recommendations to customers. • Perform installation, commissioning, and system start-up for new and upgraded machinery. • Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety regulations and standards. • Document all service activities, including time, materials, and corrective actions. • Collaborate with engineering and customer support teams to enhance system performance. • Travel up to 50% for field assignments, including site installations and service calls. Qualifications • 1+ years of experience in industrial field service engineering or automation systems support. • Strong knowledge of industrial automation, controls, and motion systems-including DC/AC drives, PLCs, and HMIs. • Ability to read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control diagrams. • Demonstrated experience with system troubleshooting, upgrades, and commissioning. • Familiarity with industries such as wire and cable, web handling, water/wastewater, extrusion, paper mills, or motion control. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred, equivalent experience accepted. • Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship management skills. • Self-directed, innovative problem-solver with a strong ethical foundation and commitment to quality.
