Company Description The City Tutors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides equitable, no-cost volunteer tutoring and mentoring support for historically underserved communities. Our vision is for all New Yorkers to have the privilege of increased academic and professional preparedness vital to upward economic mobility. We focus on making educational and professional resources accessible to everyone, contributing to community growth and well-being. Role Description This is a volunteer remote role for a UX Writer/Content Designer at The City Tutors. The UX Writer/Content Designer will be responsible for creating user-centric content, developing and implementing content strategies, conducting UX research, and writing technical documents. The role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance user experience through well-crafted content. Qualifications • Proficiency in Technical Writing and User Experience Writing • Prefer Squarespace experience • Experience in UX Research and developing Content Strategy • Strong Writing skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and remotely • Passion for education and community service is a plus • Previous experience in non-profit organizations is advantageous
