The Global Real Estate Reliability Senior Manager ensures that buildings across the country are safe, reliable, and functioning as they should. This role focuses on important facilities such as pharmacies that store medications requiring strict temperature control. This person is a technical leader who supports heating, cooling, refrigeration, and building control systems. They set company‑wide standards, make sure maintenance work follows the rules, and lead teams that monitor building systems. The role also helps prevent problems, protect medications, and improve how buildings perform over time. Responsibilities: Create and manage company‑wide maintenance rules for heating, cooling, refrigeration, electrical, and pharmacy systems Make sure maintenance programs meet safety rules, regulations, and equipment requirements Review maintenance records and lead audits to ensure buildings follow approved standards Visit facilities (in person or virtually) to inspect equipment and identify risks or issues Develop and enforce building design standards for new projects and upgrades Review engineering plans and equipment designs for renovations and replacements Support long‑term planning by identifying aging equipment and reliability risks Lead the team that manages building automation systems used to monitor temperatures and alarms Ensure temperature‑sensitive medications are stored safely and monitored correctly Improve system performance, energy efficiency, and early problem detection Perform regular building reliability reviews and write clear, easy‑to‑understand reports Train, coach, and support team members and facility staff Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement Write clear technical documents, procedures, and reports Explain complex technical topics in a way that non‑technical partners can understand Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or similar experience 8+ years of experience working with building systems or critical facilities Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and temperature‑controlled environments Experience with building automation systems (WebCTRL preferred) Ability to review engineering drawings and technical documents Proven experience leading teams and developing employees Strong writing and communication skills Experience using maintenance systems such as CMMS (Corrigo or similar) Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, data centers, or other critical environments preferred Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, reliability standards, or FM Global guidelines preferred If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 125,800 - 209,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
