EviCore is seeking a skilled Business Analytics Lead Analyst – Data Engineering to join our team. This pivotal role involves providing advanced technical expertise to complex Operations Analytics projects. The successful candidate will operate independently, exercising sound judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both new and existing analytics processes. The ideal candidate will leverage their in-depth professional knowledge and business acumen to develop and maintain procedures and reporting frameworks that facilitate trend monitoring within Operations. As a Business Analytics Lead Analyst – Data Engineering, you will lead projects and be accountable for ongoing processes, while providing guidance and direction to junior professionals. Technology Stack The Business Analytics team utilizes the following technologies to develop reporting workflows and deliver insightful analysis to leadership: SQL Scala Python Databricks SSIS Alteryx SSMS Oracle Tableau Power BI RESPONSIBILITIES: Work independently on assigned tasks, setting personal deadlines to meet project timelines. Maintain and enhance existing ETL processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of reporting tables. Collaborate with senior team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of business operations and analytics requirements. Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems. Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation and cleansing processes. Automate ad hoc data requests to provide broader access to essential data, enhancing team efficiency and decision-making capabilities. Optimize data architecture and infrastructure in collaboration with IT teams. Leverage data engineering and analytics expertise to design effective reporting tables for use in Tableau and Power BI. Lead projects or project steps within broader initiatives, ensuring accountability for ongoing activities and objectives. Mentor and provide direction to junior analysts, fostering professional growth and development. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering. 1+ years of experience in data analysis or operations Proficiency in writing SQL stored procedures and building SSIS packages. Experience in maintaining SSMS jobs. Strong commitment to thorough documentation practices. Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Experience with Databricks Notebooks. Proficiency in Python and/or Scala. Familiarity with developing Tableau Dashboards. Experience in building forecasting models. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 77,300 - 128,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
