We are currently searching for our opening Management Team! The Group Sales & Event Manager will be at the heart of that mission, driving revenue while curating experiences that leave a lasting imprint. From intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, you’ll bring people together across our hotel, restaurant, and bars—always ensuring that every event reflects the effortless warmth and excellence of 21st Century Southern Hospitality. The ideal candidate is a natural connector with a proven track record in sales, a passion for events, and the creativity to bring bold ideas to life. You’ll work hand-in-hand with clients, our sales team, and our operations leaders to ensure flawless execution, inspired teams, and delighted guests. This role is about more than filling a calendar—it’s about building community, fostering loyalty, and helping us achieve ambitious growth goals while nurturing the next generation of hospitality leaders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Event Sales and Business Development: • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to implement sales strategies to generate event bookings for The Chloe Nashville • Help to identify and target potential clients, including corporate groups, social events, weddings, and other special occasions. • Conduct sales calls, site visits, and presentations to prospective clients to showcase our venues and services. Client Relationship Management: • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. • Act as the main point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through to event completion. • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure bookings while ensuring profitability. Group Sales Management: • Identify opportunities and secure group bookings for hotel accommodations, including corporate groups, tour groups, and social gatherings. • Develop and negotiate group sales contracts, ensuring competitive rates and terms that align with revenue goals. • Coordinate with hotel management to allocate room blocks, manage group reservations, and address special requests. Event Planning and Coordination: • Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences. • Work closely with the operations team to ensure all event details are communicated and executed flawlessly. • Oversee event logistics, including setup, staffing, catering, and audiovisual needs, to ensure a seamless experience. Revenue Management and Reporting: • Achieve and exceed event sales targets and revenue goals. • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management. • Develop pricing strategies and packages that maximize revenue and attract diverse clientele. Marketing and Promotion: • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns for event sales. • Utilize social media, email marketing, and other channels to reach potential clients and promote our venues. • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to increase brand visibility and generate leads. Team Collaboration and Leadership: • Work closely with the Director of Sales to align event sales strategies with overall business objectives. • Mentor and support junior sales staff, providing guidance and training as needed. • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and shared success.
