Sales Consultant Job Summary of Sales Consultant: This position focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience by supporting daily store operations. The role contributes to driving sales, maintaining product presentation standards, and ensuring a clean and organized environment that aligns with company expectations. Strong communication and service skills are essential to support customer needs and operational efficiency. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Consultant: • Provide prompt assistance to customers, prioritizing service over other tasks. • Engage and acknowledge customers while delivering the appropriate level of support. • Communicate product value, quality, and current promotions while offering alternatives for unavailable items. • Address customer concerns with sound judgment and professionalism. • Apply effective selling techniques to support positive conversion results. • Deliver efficient and friendly checkout service while informing customers about relevant store programs. • Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure full representation of sizes and styles. • Adhere to company standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and display setup. • Support stockroom organization and uphold a customer-ready environment aligned with safety guidelines. • Complete daily housekeeping tasks to maintain store cleanliness. • Protect company assets by following established loss prevention procedures. • Report facility and maintenance concerns promptly to support a safe and clean environment. • Contribute focused efforts toward achieving store performance goals. • Assist with stock processing and other operational tasks as needed. Qualifications and Experience of Sales Consultant: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous retail experience preferred. • Minimum age requirement of 18 years. • Strong customer engagement abilities. • Effective time management and organizational skills. • Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment. • Adaptability to shifting priorities and business needs. • Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. • Ability to navigate the sales floor and stockroom, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
