Sales Associate Job Summary of Sales Associate: This position supports daily store operations by delivering strong customer engagement, maintaining merchandise presentation standards, and ensuring a clean, organized environment. The role contributes to team performance through effective communication, product understanding, and consistent execution of operational tasks. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Associate: • Respond to customer activity with urgency and prioritize service-oriented tasks. • Provide friendly, timely acknowledgment and appropriate assistance to customers. • Communicate product value, highlight promotions, and offer alternatives for unavailable items. • Address customer concerns using sound judgment and professionalism. • Apply effective selling techniques to support conversion and enhance the customer experience. • Deliver accurate checkout support while promoting loyalty program benefits. • Maintain stock levels and ensure merchandise is well-organized and accurately represented. • Follow company standards for visual presentation, display, and signage. • Support a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment. • Complete routine housekeeping tasks aligned with company expectations. • Follow loss prevention standards and protect company assets. • Communicate facility or maintenance needs promptly to leadership. • Contribute focused, consistent effort toward achieving store goals. • Assist with stock processing and operational tasks as business needs shift. Qualifications and Experience of Sales Associate: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous retail experience preferred. • Minimum age requirement of 18 years. • Strong customer engagement abilities. • Effective time management and organizational skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. • Adaptability to changing priorities and operational demands. • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. • Ability to move throughout the sales floor and stockroom, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
