The Care Team is seeking a dynamic and connected Regional Director of Business Development to lead our hospice Business Development Managers across Michigan. This role is ideal for a servant leader who thrives on developing others, building meaningful healthcare relationships, and ensuring a seamless experience for patients and families referred to hospice care. What You’ll Do Role As a Regional Director of Business Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing The Care Team’s presence and ensuring compassionate care for those who need it most. You will: • Lead, coach, and elevate a team of Hospice Business Development Managers across the state. • Build and nurture relationships within the metro Detroit medical community and beyond to drive quality referrals. • Partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to ensure smooth, timely hospice admissions and excellent communication. • Analyze market trends and develop strategic sales plans aligned with company goals. • Conduct field visits to mentor team members, assess performance, and strengthen referral partnerships. • Hire, train, and empower a high-performing, mission-driven sales team. • Represent The Care Team with professionalism, compassion, and integrity in every interaction. Qualifications What We’re Looking For • Proven success in healthcare or hospice sales leadership (3–5 years minimum). • Deep knowledge of and connection to the Michigan healthcare community. • A servant leader who motivates through support, accountability, and purpose. • Strong collaboration and communication skills — especially in cross-functional settings. • Experience analyzing trends, developing strategy, and coaching field teams to meet and exceed goals. • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
