Your Role: The Associate Director, Value and Access Channel Analytics is a highly visible, strategic analytics role responsible for generating insights and performance measurement across specialty pharmacies, wholesalers, specialty distributors, and the patient access funnel. This individual will lead analytics that inform market access strategy, evaluate channel performance, measure and report key KPIs, support data strategy evolution, and conduct financial modeling to guide distribution and dispensing strategy decisions. Sitting within the Strategic Analytics team, this role collaborates closely with Market Access Strategy, Account Directors, Brand teams, Patient Support, Trade & Distribution, IT, Finance, and other analytics organizations. The role requires a strong blend of analytical rigor, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. This role supports all in-line and launch brands at EMD Serono with a focus on the launch of Pergoveris and Fertility MFN implementation. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Analytics & Insights Lead development of analytics that evaluate channel health, performance drivers, and access-related risks/opportunities. Provide insights across key partners (specialty pharmacies, wholesalers/distributors, HUB services, SP networks). Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand barriers to prescription access and drivers of channel throughput. Translate data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Patient Funnel Analytics Analyze end-to-end patient journey metrics including, new to brand conversion, prior authorization, appeal approvals, patient out-of-pocket, adherence and persistence Identify friction points in the patient and access journey and quantify the impact on prescription success rates Performance Measurement & KPI Leadership Define, build, and maintain KPI frameworks for direct to patient pharmacy, specialty pharmacy performance, wholesaler/distributor operations, and patient funnel metrics. Track and report channel performance trends, cycle times, adherence metrics, abandonment, leakage, and inventory dynamics. Establish performance benchmarks and provide proactive alerts around channel risks. Financial Modeling & Access Impact Assessment Utilize financial models analyzing channel economics, specialty pharmacy agreements, and gross-to-net implications. Support scenario modeling and forecasting for market access planning. Data Strategy & Infrastructure Support Act as the subject matter expert in SP patient status and longitudinal claims data. Develops dashboards to support Strategy, KPI and performance measurement. Influence data ecosystem development to ensure scalable, accurate, and timely access to critical channel information. Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as a strategic thought partner to Market Access Strategy, Account Directors, Trade, Brand, Finance, and Patient Services. Collaborate with other Strategic Analytics colleagues to integrate channel insights with brand, payer, policy, and promotional analytics. Present findings to senior leadership in a clear, influential manner. Who You Are Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, economics, finance, statistics, public health, healthcare or related field. 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech analytics, market access, trade/channel analytics, patient services analytics, or closely related domain. Strong experience working with specialty pharmacy data, wholesaler/distributor data, patient access metrics, or HUB analytics. Proven ability to design and interpret KPIs, build dashboards, and communicate insights to senior audiences. Advanced Excel skills; and strong data visualization experience (Tableau/Power BI). Experience with financial modeling including revenue impact, scenario analysis, and GTN-related considerations. Ability to work cross-functionally to provide strategical analytical direction and approach. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree (MBA, MS Analytics, MPH, etc.). Fertility experience a plus. Launch experience preferred. Experience with specialty pharmacy networks, distribution agreements, or buy-and-bill operations. Familiarity with commercial data ecosystems (e.g., specialty pharmacy data feeds, HUB platforms, payer data, IQVIA, SHS, Komodo, 867 data, 852 data). Understanding of patient access programs and market access strategies across therapeutic areas. Experience supporting launch or high-growth products. Consulting Experience. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
