Join our team of passionate healthcare professionals striving to make a difference every day. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Activities Director located in Seattle, WA. The Activities Director will be responsible for developing and coordinating engaging recreational and therapeutic programs for residents, managing event planning, and overseeing day-to-day operations of activity schedules. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with staff to meet residents' physical, emotional, and social needs, maintaining compliance with care guidelines, and managing resources effectively. Qualifications • Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff • Experience in Recreation and Therapeutic Recreation, with a focus on creating enriching activities for diverse needs • Proficiency in Budgeting and resource management to ensure well-executed programs • Event Planning expertise to coordinate and manage activities and special events • Strong organizational and leadership skills • Relevant certifications or a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field is highly preferred • Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare or long-term care setting is an advantage
