Software Development Engineer (Associate, Experienced, or Senior Level) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for a Software Development Engineer (Associate, Experienced, or Senior Level) to join the B-52 Software Blocks (BSB) team located in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. The software block process focuses on performing corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance on fielded B-52 software. Position Responsibilities: Designs, develops, tests, and maintains non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards Develop and maintain code, integrating software components into a fully functional system Collaborate on software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments Execute test procedures and document results to ensure software system requirements are met Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products Develops, maintains, enhances and optimizes software products and functionalities for systems integrations Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products Handles user inquiries, troubleshoots technical issues and user feedback analysis Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development Develops, establishes, monitors and improves software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks Executes and documents software research and development projects Advises on software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations Performs software project management activities and software supplier management functions Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process compliance to project plans and industry standards Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate, Experienced, and Senior Engineers. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start). Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): 2+ years of experience in software development utilizing Java, C++, or Ada 95 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying software programs 2+ years of experience writing and testing software Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science Provides technical leadership for software projects and leads software supplier management activities Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range for Associate: $80,750.00 - $109.250.00 Summary pay range for Experienced: $99,450.00 - $134,550.00. Summary pay range for Senior: $119,000.00 - $161,000.00.
