Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager to join our team in Hazelwood, MO. This role requires a proactive, experienced First-Line Manager to lead Procurement activities in a highly regulated and fast-paced environment. You will manage a Team of Procurement Agents, driving timely and compliant responses to supplier and program stakeholders. Position Responsibilities: Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is recommended but not required Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develop and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools Manages, develops and motivates employees To be considered for this position, you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership” 3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher 3+ years leadership and/or mentorship experience Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
