Flight Line Shipside Operations Analyst Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring Shipside Operations Specialist Level (2, 3 or 4) to support the 787 Program Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center Operations Team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality. Position Responsibilities: Provide expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues. Use advanced technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization. Utilize tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure resolve of production issues. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. May analyze and interpret data and provide root cause corrective action and trend data to identify and eliminate high impact and systemic issues. Coordinate and facilitate multi-function group meetings required to resolve issues. Provides coaching and instruction to other teammates. Works under minimal direction. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Ability to work any shift, overtime, holidays and weekends 1+ years’ experience with operations analysis. 1+ years’ experience with root cause analysis. Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years combination of education and experience 5+ years combination of education and experience 5+ years Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience. Proficient in using CMES software. Proficient in REDARS, PSDS, and BAC specifications 2+ years of experience in a supportive LSCC role 1+ year of flight line operations experience.
