Airplane Systems Design Engineering Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring for an Airplane Systems Design Engineering Manager to work at our North Charleston, SC location. Primary Responsibilities: Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 5+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal or informal leadership role 5+ years of working with aircraft systems 5+ years of supporting commercial aircraft production systems Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
