Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, 5+ years in finance or accounting, non-profit experience, virtual work comfort, and a passion for wellness of Black women and girls.
The Black Girl Healing Project is a small 501c3 dedicated to moving Black women and girls from crisis to excellence by removing barriers to mental wellness services. We are in need of a part-time (roughly 5-10 hrs per week) or ad hoc consultant to support us with our finances. Responsibilities • Maintain accurate financial statements and reports • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and federal and state guidelines • Develop and submit reports to the board and federal and state entities • Effectively maintain all financial records • Assist with the development of financial plans Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • 5+ years' of experience in finance or accounting • Previous experience in the non-profit space • Must have a desire for the wellness of Black women and girls • Strong communication and analytical skills • Must be comfortable working virtually
