Full Description

The Sr Product Analyst will work closely with the Product Team, internal and external associates, and vendors to introduce new products, enhance existing products, and enter new markets to support the company's profit and growth targets. They will collaborate with business partners to manage the rate and rule revision process, prepare insurance filings, and implement revision changes. This role requires expertise in applying mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze profitability and competitive position. Additionally, the Sr Product Analyst will review insurance company filings, industry, and regulatory changes to provide recommendations that will enhance product launches, changes, and enhancements. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Under limited guidance from Product Manager/Product Leader: • Work closely with the Product Team, internal and external associates, and vendors to support introduction of new products, enhancements to existing products, and/or entry into new markets to reach company profit and growth targets • Collaborate with business partners throughout the organization on the rate and rule revision process, including confirming scope and timelines, preparing filings to be submitted to state insurance departments, coordinating responses to regulator questions, and implementing final revision changes • Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze profitability and competitive position on a state and program basis. Work with relevant Team Members to perform analyses that inform recommendations on what actions can be taken to improve product performance • Review insurance company filings, in particular rate algorithms, underwriting guidelines, and forms, along with industry and regulatory changes to provide recommendations that will improve product launches, changes, and enhancements. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years experience #LI-JW2 #LI-REMOTE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & PERCENTAGE OF TIME PER PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Maintains product workbooks for various states, products, and carriers. Audits and analyzes product performance. Aids and contributes to product and pricing improvements. Works with IT on implementing product changes. Performs product reviews and monitoring for compliance with legal and regulatory recommendations to ensure all P&C products are compliant. Works with Compliance on monitor severe or CAT weather conditions and make any necessary moratorium recommendations. Assists with any product related filings.
