Position Summary The BI Data Analyst will be responsible for delivering actionable insights through analysis, reporting, and visualization to support decision-making across the organization. This role involves creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, as well as leveraging data to forecast trends and guide business activities. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and skilled at exploring data from multiple angles, conducting research, identifying trends, and collaborating with colleagues to integrate data from various sources for informed recommendations. Principal Responsibilities Design, develop, and manage business intelligence solutions for the organization. Build and maintain dashboards, generate reports, and prepare data visualizations to guide business decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, structure, and validate data from multiple sources. Audit, compile, and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and integrity. Communicate findings internally and externally, answering questions and providing clarity on data and reports. Work on complex projects of large scope, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Automate manual reporting processes and implement efficiencies. Support the implementation of new practices, processes, and procedures. Create ad-hoc datasets and visualizations (graphs, tables, charts) based on business requests. Education, Experience, Skills & Abilities Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 3–5 years of data analytics or related experience. Strong data visualization skills with Power BI (preferred), Tableau, and Qlik Sense Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps. Insurance industry experience preferred. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including: OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines, Dataflows, and Power BI integration. Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and Python for Fabric Notebooks. Ability to understand database structures, relationships, and dependencies. General understanding of AI for personal productivity, including: Using AI tools for data analysis, report automation, and decision support. Awareness of AI trends and their impact on BI workflows. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, charts, and graphing).
