OPPORTUNITY The Bahnsen Group (TBG) is seeking an Intern to support our financial planning functions of our wealth management team in our New York, NY office. This internship offers a meaningful introduction to financial planning within a high-performing wealth management team. As a Financial Planning Intern, you will work closely with Private Wealth Advisors and Planners to support the creation, analysis, and presentation of financial plans. You will gain hands-on experience with industry tools, participate in real planning workflows, and develop foundational skills for a future career in wealth management. RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist with data gathering, data input, and preparation of financial plans • Support use of eMoney, including organizing client information and generating planning reports • Help prepare meeting materials, summaries, and planning deliverables • Participate in ad hoc planning projects, modeling, and case preparation as needed • Contribute to client service and in-office hospitality to ensure an excellent client experience QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics • Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment • Detail-oriented, possess excellent time management and prioritization skills • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
