Description SIGN ON BONUS-UP TO $1000 **$20.00 Hourly Hiring Rate**Awake Overnight Shifts JOIN OUR TEAM now and make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities! Our mission is to advocate for and provide support and services to people with developmental and other disabilities, emphasizing choice and full community engagement. SUMMARY: The Direct Support Professional assists in providing self-care training, therapeutic treatments, and assistance in daily living to developmentally disabled individuals attending the agency's respite facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must stay awake and not place themselves in a compromising position/place that is conducive to sleep; Continuously assess the status of the physical building and the individuals throughout the duration of the shift. Provides individualized care as outlined in the individuals Life Plan, or ISP. Supports the residents to ensure their safety and well being. Observes, documents and communicates pertinent information such as behaviors, nursing, nutrition, clinical issues, etc., to facilitate assessment and development of treatment goals.
