#157620-1 Job Title: Program Manager - Commodity Qualification Testing Location: HYBRID (3-4 Days onsite in Redmond, WA) Rate: $44-$46/ hour Duration: Through 6/30/25 (possibility of extension) The Program Manager will lead and manage end-to-end processes for commodity qualification testing within the Cloud Hardware Supply Chain organization. This role ensures timely and accurate qualification of hardware components to support production and non-production environments. The position requires strong program management skills, technical understanding of cloud hardware, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, supply chain, and operations teams. Typical Day in the Role: • 30% Meetings: Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and lab teams to review qualification progress, resolve issues, and align priorities. • 70% Focused Work: Execute program management tasks such as SKU design layout, hardware quantity planning, purchase tracking, and lab capacity management. • Regularly update dashboards and reports to communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders. • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce qualification cycle times. Responsibilities: Daily Work and Measurable Outcomes: • Own and drive the end-to-end commodity qualification process, ensuring on-time delivery of qualifications. • Manage detailed program activities including SKU design layout, hardware quantity planning, purchase tracking, and lab space allocation. • Coordinate with our client's labs and key stakeholders to prioritize and schedule qualification requests. • Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline pre-qualification processes and reduce cycle times. • Lead weekly cross-functional meetings to track progress and communicate status updates. • Interface with NPI and product qualification teams to align commodity mapping for next-generation infrastructure deployment. • Partner with spares LCM teams to determine hardware and sample dependencies for non-production requirements. • Develop and implement analytics and dashboards using tools like Power BI, ADO, and OnePDM to measure KPIs and drive operational efficiency. • Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and reduce qualification cycle times. Performance Metrics: • On-time delivery of qualifications. • Hardware consolidation and lab capacity optimization. • Inventory management with zero delays due to hardware/sample constraints. • Accuracy and timeliness of reporting. Required Qualifications: • BS/BA in Electrical Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Economics. • 3-5 years of experience in program management, qualification testing, manufacturing operations, or supply chain. Minimum 2 years in each of the following: • Program Management and coordination. • Supply Chain Operations and planning. • Procurement expertise (including purchase order creation). • Cloud Server Hardware knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with commodity qualification processes in a cloud hardware environment. • Proficiency in data analytics and dashboard creation using Power BI and similar tools. • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Familiarity with tools such as ADO and OnePDM. • Demonstrated ability to lead process efficiency and automation projects.
