This role is pivotal in ensuring parity between sovereign and commercial cloud environments, with a strong focus on data engineering, reporting, and release management. The analyst will work on high-impact projects involving Power BI, Azure DevOps (ADO), and data sources such as Kusto and CosmosDB. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our client's sovereign cloud strategy and build critical data solutions that support national infrastructure. Responsibilities • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to gather and refine requirements for reporting and data parity. • Design and develop dashboards, semantic models, and data pipelines using Power BI, Kusto (KQL), and CosmosDB. • Build and maintain release management reporting solutions leveraging data from Azure DevOps. • Translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable insights. • Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support system implementation decisions. • Ensure alignment of technology solutions with business strategies across multiple functions. • Provide daily functional support and troubleshooting for reporting applications and data systems. • Maintain a high "say-do ratio" by reliably delivering on commitments and project milestones. • Serve as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure effective communication and solution delivery. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. • 5–7 years of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing. Proven expertise in: • Power BI (5–7 years) • Kusto (KQL), CosmosDB, SQL (5–7 years) • Azure DevOps (ADO), Excel (5–7 years) • Understanding of semantic models, workspaces, and dashboard development. • Ability to read and comprehend code and basic programming functions. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. • High interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various technical levels. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with government or sovereign cloud projects. • Familiarity with release management processes and reporting. • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus but not required. • Prior contract experience in a similar role. • Demonstrated ability to innovate and improve operational efficiency through technical solutions.
