Edit cross-channel videos, integrate AI-generated content, and maintain brand consistency in fast-paced workflows.
5+ years of branded content editing experience, proficiency in Premiere and After Effects, and experience with AI video tools.
We’re the Alt League Alt League is an independent creative agency building engaging brands for a modern world. We’re an experienced group of doers who pride ourselves on bringing forward “stretchy ideas” — big enough to run across channels, sharp enough to drive results. We’re female-founded, fast on our feet, and firmly believe that AI has the power to free human creativity. We know this because we do it every day. The role We’re looking for a Video Editor + AI Video Generation specialist to join on a contract basis to start, with a clear path to becoming full-time if it’s a strong fit on both sides. You’ll work West Coast hours and partner closely with our creative team to produce high-output, high-taste video across OLV, Digital Out of Home, and Social. This role is for someone who can edit fast without feeling rushed, and who treats AI video tools as part of the production workflow—not a side quest. What you’ll do Edit cross-channel video that holds attention • Own end-to-end editing for a mix of deliverables: OLV, DOOH, and social/native placements. • Shape strong narratives from raw footage, UGC, archives, and mixed media. • Build cutdowns and modular versions that keep the core idea intact across formats, lengths, and placements. Generate and integrate AI video into real deliverables • Use AI video tools to create usable elements: shot concepts, b-roll alternatives, backgrounds/environments, transitions, and synthetic inserts. • Rapidly explore visual directions and iterations—then refine into edits that feel intentional and on-brand. • Combine AI-generated footage with live-action, typography, motion, and sound so the final cut feels seamless (not stitched together). Make the work feel like the brand • Apply brand systems to video: typography, color, logo treatment, pacing, composition, and audio vibe. • Maintain consistency across campaigns while keeping outputs fresh and distinctive. • Collaborate with Creative/Strategy to translate a POV into edit decisions that land in the real world. Keep production moving (fans of fast) • Deliver multiple versions without quality drift: different aspect ratios, lengths, and placements. • Maintain organized project files, templates, and a repeatable workflow. • Communicate clearly about tradeoffs: what’s “good now,” what’s worth polishing, and what needs input to unblock. You are • A sharp editor with strong taste, timing, and restraint. • Comfortable making decisions quickly—and defending them. • AI-literate: you can prompt, evaluate output quality, and integrate results into a professional edit. • Organized: clean timelines, predictable versioning, reliable exports. • Calm, responsive, and collaborative with a small senior team. You’ve probably done some of this • 5+ years editing branded content or campaign work (agency or in-house). • Deep fluency in Premiere (and/or Resolve); working knowledge of After Effects for motion, supers, and compositing. • Experience using AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, Midjourney-to-video workflows, etc.) with an opinionated sense of what’s production-ready. • A portfolio that shows range: polished campaign work, strong storytelling, and finishing craft across placements. Nice-to-haves • Motion design strength (kinetic type, transition design, AE templates that don’t feel templated). • Audio instincts (sound design, VO cleanup, music editing). • Experience prepping DOOH deliverables (specs, safe zones, readability, clean loops, high-res finishing). • Comfort with utility toolchains: upscaling/denoise, captioning, conforming, compression best practices. Details • Type: Contract to start, possibility of FTE • Hours: West Coast hours • Location: Remote (with availability for reviews and fast-turn feedback loops) • Start: ASAP
