Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 7+ years corporate accounting/finance experience, 3+ years leadership, manufacturing background, expertise in GAAP and financial controls.
Our manufacturing client is expanding operations and adding a full-time Finance Operations Manager to oversee planning and lead corporate strategy at their HQ, about 30 miles east of Murfreesboro. Key Responsibilities: • Lead corporate planning initiatives, including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strategy. • Managing budget, forecasting financial outcomes, and ensuring that operations are financially sustainable. • Operational planning, ensuring that day-to-day operations align with long-term goals, including managing resources, production schedules, and workforce planning. • Assessing company performance and improving financial policies, procedures, and reporting. • Working with senior management, production teams, and other departments (e.g., HR, sales, and logistics) to ensure cohesive business operations. • Identifying potential operational risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity. • Leading initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity. • Managing general accounting functions (AP, AR, general ledger, taxes), payroll, audits, corporate reporting and more. • Develop and manage accounting and finance staff. • Ensure accurate year-end closing and reporting with auditors. Qualifications: • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 7+ years of experience in corporate accounting/finance • 3+ years of leadership experience • Manufacturing industry background required • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, GAAP and corporate financial controls. • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial system proficiency. • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate financial controls.
