OPPORTUNITY The Managing Director, Partnership Experience & Impact (MD) ensures that ANet’s partners experience measurable impact, sustained instructional improvement, and a clear case for renewal and expansion. Reporting to the Vice President, Partnership Experience & Impact, the MD serves as both a strategic advisor to system leaders and a manager of coaches delivering high-quality service. This leader holds the multi-year vision for their portfolio, makes ANet’s impact visible, and strengthens long-term partner investment. TRAVEL Up to 30% based on partnership needs and internal retreats RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and Sustain High-Impact Partnerships Serve as primary client lead for a portfolio of partners, accountable for renewal and expansion. Advise superintendents, CAOs, and senior leaders, aligning ANet’s products & services to partner priorities and timelines. Translate instructional insights into compelling impact narratives that support long-term investment. Manage and Develop a High-Performing Team Supervise and coach a team of ANet coaches to deliver consistently excellent service. Provide feedback, professional development, and performance management to maximize team impact. Cultivate a team culture rooted in ANet’s core values, accountability, and learning. Strengthen Service Execution and Impact Lead coaches to set ambitious learning and impact goals with partners; monitor and adjust strategies to ensure results. Integrate client leadership with product & service implementation support so that renewal conversations flow naturally from demonstrated impact. Collaborate across Implementation Success teams to ensure coherence of ANet’s service model. Contribute to Organizational Learning and Strategy Elevate insights from partnerships to inform ANet’s product & service implementation support design, product strategy, and organizational learning. Collaborate with national and regional leaders to refine partnership practices and strengthen ANet’s field presence. Ideal candidates must also demonstrate the following required qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS Proven client leader with experience managing complex partnerships and influencing senior system leaders. Instructional leadership expertise with credibility in teaching, coaching, and/or system leadership. Strong people leader with a track record of developing diverse, mission-driven teams. Strategic thinker who anticipates needs, identifies opportunities, and drives actionable strategies. Values- and relationship-driven, with humility, curiosity, and a commitment to student impact in education. COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is between $114,750 - $191,250. New hires will start between the range minimum and midpoint ($114,750 - $153,000) based on qualifications assessed during the hiring process, past experience, and internal equity. Individuals currently contracting with organizations that are in direct competition with ANet may not be eligible for this role.
