Position Summary The People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) will be assigned to the Operations, Standards Systems, and Strategy Departments, serving as the primary point of contact for team members and managers within those areas. In this role, the PCBP will provide professional, responsive, and values-aligned HR support to our global workforce, ensuring consistency and care across regions. Based in the USA, the PCBP will support the full employee lifecycle across multiple regions, ensuring local relevance and global consistency in people practices and in partnership with our Employer-of-Record (EOR). This role will be instrumental in reinforcing a positive employee experience and fostering a people-centric culture at Textile E xchange.The ideal candidate will bring practical knowledge of employment regulations in the US with familiarity across various countries, a strong customer service orientation, a collaborative mindset, and a demonstrated ability to coach both employees and managers through complex employee relations issues, performance management, and development conversations. Primary Duties and Respons ibilities Staff Relations &am • p; SupportServe as the primary human resources contact for a growing global workforce by providing day-to-day guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and performance m • anagement.Coach and support managers in proactively addressing employee relations issues, fostering team engagement, and navigating sensitive workplace concerns in a constructive, legally compliant, and values-align • ed manner.Partner with managers and the Learning & Development Specialist to identify learning needs across regions and support the development and implementation of relevant learning and development oppo • rtunities.Assist with the implementation of new and updated HR policies and initiatives acros • s regions.Coordinate with EOR’s legal and HR advisors on country-specific issues • as needed.Partner with the Lead, People & Culture, to ensure practices are legally compliant and culturally appropriate in diverse global contexts. Onboarding, Offboarding & Lifecycle • ManagementEnsure seamless onboarding experiences by coordinating with EOR, People & Culture team members, hiring managers, IT, and other relevant d • epartments.Support employees and managers during offboarding, including exit interviews, logistics, and compliance with local r • egulations.Maintain accurate records and support HR data integrity across platforms and doc umentation. Talent • Acquisition Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and succe • ss profiles.Support hiring managers in crafting clear, compelling, and equitable job d • escriptions.Manage job postings, candidate sourcing, screenings, and conducting • interviews.Provide guidance and training on inclusive and effective interviewing techniques, including structured interviewing and bia • s reduction.Facilitate interview debrief sessions and help teams make thoughtful, principle-aligned hirin • g decisions.Support hiring managers and recruiters to ensure a consistent, compliant, and positive hiring experience for both managers and candidates. HR Systems &a • mp; ProcessesMaintain and update employee records in alignment with data protection and priva • cy standards.Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, tools, a • nd templates.Generate reports and metrics to support decision-making and trac k key trends. Secondary Duties and Re • sponsibilitiesAdditional projects and tasks as assigned by the Lead and/or Senior Director, Peopl e and Culture. Minimum • QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, behavioral science or relevant field, or education equivalent in w • ork experience.3+ years of experience in a generalist or HR business partner role within a globa • l organization.Strong understanding of employment law and HR pract • ices in the US.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance global consistency wit • h local nuance.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal commun • ication skills.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and p • rofessionalism.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite an d HRIS systems. Preferre • d QualificationsSHRM, HRCI, or CIPD certification or equivalent H • R qualification.Experience working for a large no • n-profit or NGO.Experience working remotely and across time zones in a • dispersed team.Experience partnering with an Employer-of-Record administrator • (i.e., Remote).Familiarity across other countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin Amer • ica, and Canada.Knowledge of sustainable fashion, environmental, or socia • l impact fields.Experience with BambooHR HRMS and SharePoint.
