Company Description The Texas Forward Party is a new political party. As a practical organization, we build realistic solutions for the challenges facing all Texas communities. We bring together diverse voices and data driven approaches to create meaningful change across the Lone Star State. Our mission is to move Texas forward by supporting candidates and initiatives that recognize the system must change for us to enact grounded, productive solutions to all of Texas' challenges. Role Description Lead messaging and media strategy for an emerging political party building grassroots support and working toward ballot access. You'll work in coordination with state leadership to craft the party's public narrative, manage social media presence, write press releases, and develop communications materials that articulate our platform to potential supporters and voters. You also will need to manage any communication project volunteers within the communications space. This role requires working on a limited budget, building relationships, and establishing a clear brand identity. Qualifications You don't need a degree or years of political experience. We want community minded individuals who are: • Passionate Communicators: You have a natural ability to connect with people, listen to their concerns, and inspire them to get involved. • Locally Engaged: A registered voter in your county. • Politically Independent: Free from other party affiliations, with a commitment to our shared vision. • Tech-Savvy and Digitally Connected: Comfortable using computers and participating in virtual meetings. • Professionally Driven: Capable of representing our party with integrity, both in public and private interactions. • Time Commitment: Approximately 3 hours per week, with increased involvement as we approach the 2026 elections.
